Privacy notes

Privacy-first notes for VettBase.

This page explains the practical data boundaries for VettBase. It is written to make local storage, cloud sync, AI drafts, and exports easier to understand before you use real data.

What VettBase stores

Depending on how you use the product, VettBase may store account details, workspace data, company profile notes, Answer Bank entries, questionnaire sessions, feedback messages, and waitlist submissions.

Local mode

The workspace can be used in local browser mode. In that mode, workspace data remains in your browser unless you export it, delete it, or sync it after signing in.

Cloud mode

Signed-in cloud data is stored in Supabase and associated with your authenticated user account. Row-level security is intended to keep user workspace rows scoped to the owning user.

AI drafts

If AI generation is enabled, the app may send your provided company context, questionnaire questions, and selected Answer Bank context to the configured AI provider to draft answers.

What not to enter

Avoid entering passwords, private keys, API keys, seed phrases, regulated personal data, or confidential buyer documents unless you intentionally decide that the workspace is the right place to store them.
